- This cute girl was brought to our home by her Christian parents after our son (by Mrs S.) had called on them and asked for her - this is the old Indian custom – the girl didn’t turn out to be the right one as our son married a half Swede and Indian of the Twana tribe (Mrs. S. father’s tribe) – funny so many (Swedes) mix well with our people ha ha. [Upside down writing at bottom says “girls parents, Mrs. S & son]
